Pit Type Carburizing Furnace  is a periodic operation electric furnace used for tempering general metal parts in air, as well as quenching, annealing, and aging heat treatment of light alloy parts, aluminum alloy die-casting parts, pistons, and aluminum plates,and also be used to blue these steel parts.

Structure: The pit type carburizing resistance furnace shell is made of cylindrical, furnace body made of steel plate and section steel. The inner surface of the furnace cover is made of stainless steel plate. The furnace lining is constructed with ultra lightweight refractory insulation bricks. Aluminum silicate fiber felt insulation is placed between the furnace lining and shell, and the remaining gaps are filled and expanded to stone powder. The resistance wire material is  0Cr25Al5 high resistance alloy wire,which wound in a spiral shape and installed on the wire support brick of the furnace. Stainless steel loading baskets and guardrails are placed inside the furnace. The pit furnace cover adopts manual lifting rod or electric hydraulic lifting. A hot air circulation blower made of heat-resistant stainless steel shaft and fan blades is installed on the furnace cover, which circulates the air inside the furnace during the heating process to ensure uniform heating of the workpiece.

Structural features: The outer cover of the well furnace (pit furnace)consists of a steel plate shell, furnace lining, and furnace top suspension beam. The inner cylinder is used to separate the smoke flow space from the controllable atmosphere flow space of the workpiece, and also serves as a heat exchange surface during the heat transfer process. The inner cylinder has good sealing performance, strong temperature and oxidation resistance, and a certain degree of stiffness, which can increase the heat transfer area, reduce deformation, and extend the service life.

Good environmental benefits: The pit furnace is equipped with a large ventilation fan device and multi zone control, further improving the uniformity of furnace temperature. The furnace is equipped with a stainless steel air guide bucket, and the furnace cover is opened and closed by a crane or an automatic hydraulic opening and closing mechanism, with guide columns to ensure smooth opening and closing of the furnace cover. The furnace cover and body are made of high-temperature resistant fiber cotton, which has good insulation performance, energy saving, and reduces production costs.
